In the unlikely event of an accident or a chemical release, Western Freightways' expert staff of Risk Managers are on-call 24-hours a day.
- Western Freightways has nationwide network of approved and insured Emergency Response contractors to assure a quick professional response to any type of emergency
- Western Freightways' Risk Management team is thoroughly trained in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety 40CFR and 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations
- Western Freightways' Safety and Compliance Manager is also the corporations In-House Counsel
- All Western Freightways' power units are equipped with Qualcomm® a 2-way satellite communication and GPS device.
- For additional security and communication, all Western Freightways Drivers as a condition of employment are required to carry a cellular phone.
